A few favorites
I notice interesting patterns, the way the light falls, how textures interact, and other aspects of scenes around me. The ability to do so serves me well in taking many types of photos, from action sports shots to interior scenery. Here are a few of my favorite photographs. The top left photograph is one of my wife's favorites. I took it on a foggy drive to work one day. A gentleman riding up on a bicycle slowed down to let me finish getting my shots!. We shared a quick nod, acknowledging the morning's beauty.
In the photo of the smiling bobber, you should know that I found it that way--broken and tucked into a fishing pole hole in a railing at South Lake in Coldwater, Michigan. It was like it was waiting for me to notice it. That's what photography is about--noticing what others don't and showing it to them.
Or, as my slogan says, "Finding the Perfection in Imperfection."
